RoboCup 2010 kicked off on June 19th 2010 until June 25th 2010 in Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
RoboCup 2010 made an impressive debut in Singapore with 4,000 participants from 500 international and local teams.
Dubbed the Olympics of the robotics industry, the event is the largest showcase of robotics and artificial intelligence. Held in South-east Asia for the first time, the event is organised by Singapore Polytechnic (SP), Singapore Science Centre and the Economic Development Board.
Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Education and Second Minister for Defence, officially opened the event on 20 June.

4. RoboCupJunior
5. Demonstrations
Benjamin Tan, a Diploma in Aerospace Electronics graduate who was in the RoboErectus soccer team, said, “The biggest challenge we faced was racing against time to program our robot and preparing it for the different matches.”
But the SP soccer team felt they have made a name for themselves on the international stage. “With our ranking now, people will try to improve and beat us in next year’s competition,” Benjamin added.
“Being in the competition, we gained more knowledge about our robots. We also learnt how to work as a team,” added Festo team member, Wong Yi Yan.
But the event was not all about competition alone as many new friendships were formed.
SP RoboCup@Home team member, Ang Yiliang, a Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering graduate said, “We met some old and new friends during the competition. The foreign participants would ask us about places of interest and questions about Singapore.”
Rodrigo Hometieiro, 16, from Portugal’s RoboCup Junior team added, “We really enjoyed the competition and it being held in Singapore. We learned new things, met new friends, and overall, it was a good experience.”
Indonesia SuperTeam: RoboCup Junior Dance, Primary [MRobot Dance] and SuperTeam: RoboCup Junior Dance, Secondary [First Dance] in big 30 finalist. The winner are mostly from Japan [Yima got 3 medals;congratulations], Iran, China, Hungary, Germany and Singapore itself. 
RoboCup 2010 concluded with a ceremonial handing over of the RoboCup flag to next year's host nation, Turkey.
